United Nations
Brand Identity and Sustainable Initiatives
Made at Trollbäck+Company
Create a universal visual messaging system for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that is recognizable and accessible to everyone around the world.
Approach:
Established a cohesive design system based on the 17 goals outlined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations member states in 2015. The system was designed to communicate complex global priorities ranging from climate action to poverty reduction through a clear and scalable visual language.
Solution:
Contributed to the development of the SDG icon system, defined the color palette, and created animated stage graphics for the Global Citizen Festival. Designed posters and print collateral for international events, ensuring consistency and clarity across multiple formats and regions.
Impact:
The SDG visual system has become a global communication standard for sustainability initiatives, used by governments, non-profits, and corporations worldwide to align messaging around shared environmental and social goals.
